CHALET NEST

Gstaad Switzerland

renovation & interior design

Chalet Nest, built in the sixties and owned by an eccentric Greek gentleman was a building destitute of interest. Bibi saw the potential, acquired it, and decided to completely renovate it in the typical style of the farmhouses of Swiss Bernese style. Being situated in agricultural land, this proved to be a very delicate project. Following her heartfelt usual style, Bibi tore apart the existing building and used only reclaimed wood, antique doors from her personal collection and noble materials to give this chalet its cosy and luxurious ambiance.

The light-filled interiors are a combination of Austrian and Venetian antiques and comfortable upholstery, giving it a cosy yet elegant style.

Entering the chalet today, one gets the feeling that the chalet has everything of a genuine old building from the Bernese Alps.

Chalet Nest is nestled in the hills above Saanen next to a charming waterfall.
